Anti-Hepatitis B Envelop Antigen (Anti-HBe) are antibodies produced by the body in response to the Hepatitis B envelop antigen (HBeAg). When HBeAg appears in blood soon after HBsAg appears or concurrently, it indicates active intrahepatic viral replication which has high chances of transmission.
